Nikon and UvA are proud to open NIKON Center of Excellence

Nikon Instruments Europe and UvA are proud to open a Centre of Excellence for Super Resolution Microscopy Development in order to expand their partnership and develop a first class facility available to the scientific community and their partners.

The University of Amsterdam and Nikon Instruments Europe have a long standing partnership in the development of front-end microscopy technology. UvA has developed unique solutions for cell imaging and applications to study processes in living cells by reducing photo toxicity. This technology named CLEM (Controlled Light Exposure Microscopy) is licensed by Nikon and sold worldwide.
