Linking Science with Business

In 2006 students of the course 'International Entrepreneurship' (facilitated by ACE @ Science Park) wrote a business plan for a new Biodiesel technology. This was the first step in the spin-off process, which eventually was done by UvA Holding.

Yellow Diesel B.V. offers a novel, clean, sustainable and cost-effective technology for continuous biodiesel production, that combines a solid catalyst with process intensification. Our process integrates reaction and separation in one flexible processing unit. It requires less equipment and has a smaller footprint compared to conventional technologies.
